The Lyth Valley is a wonderful choice for a Lakeland holiday, the rolling countryside dotted with livestock, the hedgerows awash with Damson blossom in early summer. Broad Rayne, a comfortable, detached bungalow, sits between Crosthwaite and Bowland Bridge in a very quiet, rural location. It is nestled beside Whitbarrow Scar, a national reserve with great views of the surrounding hills. Ideal for enjoying leisurely walks from the door Broad Rayne is well situated for exploring Kendal, Bowness and the busier Lakes resorts by car. And after a day of walking or sightseeing, there are three excellent country pubs within easy reach, The Hare and Hounds and The Mason's Arms at Bowland Bridge and the Punchbowl at Crosthwaite, all offering excellent food.


Broad Rayne is a comfortable home, furnished in a traditional style and blessed with a lovely outlook from all windows. Three good bedrooms with en suite to the twin should suit most parties, the dual aspect lounge is spacious enough for all to sit back, relax and take in the warmth from the wood burning stove as well as the views.
