Maiden Moor is an end of terrace cottage in the heart of this tiny village, which lies at the southern end of Derwent Water amidst the most spectacular scenery. There are two cafes in Grange, a public bar in the Borrowdale Hotel, which is a 15 minute walk, and the bustling town of Keswick is five miles.
