This comfortably furnished and well presented semi-detached cottage is set in open countryside along a well maintained track, with far reaching views over upper Wensleydale to the front of the property and Ais Gil and Wild Boar Fell to the rear. There is a wood burning stove in the cosy sitting room and a comfortable and peaceful conservatory to relax and take in the views. The property is situated within a lovely well established enclosed garden with tables, chairs, a chiminear and a barbecue for alfresco dining on those warmer days and evenings. Adjacent to the famous scenic Settle to Carlisle railway line, this is a truly unique rural location. Hawes the bustling market town is 5 miles away, with the famous Wensleydale Creamery, interesting and traditional shops, cobbled streets pubs, cafes, and restaurants serving good food. There is a traditional market every Tuesday, a pottery, rope maker and a glass blower in the town. Alternatively Sedbergh (9 miles) surrounded by the Howgill Fells, noted as a ‘Book Town’, has a narrow cobbled main street, a weekly market and several alternative places to eat, with interesting galleries and shops to browse around.
