The Bog Farmhouse and barns at Aldoth were recently converted into a row of attractive sandstone cottages, with character features but modern facilities. Old Bog Farmhouse is situated in a peaceful, rural area, surrounded by open farmland and with views to the Lake District Mountains. Aldoth is in North West Cumbria, 5 miles from the Victorian seaside town of Silloth and the wonderful Cumbrian coast and within easy reach of The Lakes , Carlisle and Hadrian s Wall. There are numerous nature reserves along the coast and excellent walks along the beaches and nearby fells. The nearest pub is 3 miles, at Abbey Town, with many more amenities in Silloth including leisure facilities, restaurants, pubs and shops. There are 2 golf courses within 5 miles, one in Aspatria and the award wining Links course at Silloth. Old Bog Farmhouse can be let together with Skiddaw View for up to 8 people, there is an inter-connecting door which can be unlocked for this purpose.

These 2 quaint seaside towns each have amenities, including leisure facilities, restaurants, pubs and shops and the Lake District is 30 minutes drive. George's cottage is next to Isabel's Cottage and may be let separately or together for up to 10 people.
