St Bees is the start of the coast to coast walk and has a golf course with views over to the Isle of Man, The Irish Sea and the Lakeland Fells.
Croft Foot Cottage is a traditional, two bedroomed, sandstone cottage nestled close to the centre of the village, and with mixed sand and pebble beach only a short walk away. St Bees has ample of amenities including a post office, railway station, local shop and a variety of places to eat including the Manor House, The Queens and The Albert House, all serving excellent food, wine and beer all within walking distance. There is easy access to local attractions such as Rosehill Theatre, Coast Aquarium at Maryport, and Muncaster Castle with its maze, Himalayan gardens and owl centre, along with Wordsworth house in Cockermouth and the famous Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. Nearby there is the nearby town of Whitehaven. Only a short distance away is the Lake District National Park, you will never be short of somewhere to visit whilst staying at Croft Foot Cottage.
