Kiln Howe lies adjacent to Kiln How Beck in the centre of Threlkeld village along a short lane off the main street. Threlkeld sits at the foot of the mighty Blencathra, which can be viewed from outside the cottage, and lies just 4 miles to the east of Keswick and 15 minutes drive from the motorway. The Horse and Farrier public house and restaurant is within 100 yards and the Salutaion Inn, which serves bar meals, is approximately 200 yards. There is a footpath leading from the cottage directly onto Blencathra, which rises steeply above the village, infact there are so many walks locally your car may be parked up for the week. Millerdale is a pretty lakeland stone cottage of character that was bought in 2006 by the owners of Kiln How, at which time they fully modernised and refurbished the cottage to the same high standards. In fact the 2 cottages are next door to each other and may be let separately or together to accommodate up to 11 people.


Millerdale lies adjacent to Kiln How Beck in the centre of Threlkeld village, along a short lane off the main street. The Horse and Farrier public house and restaurant is within 100 yards and the Salutation Inn, which serves bar meals, is approx 200 yards. There is a footpath leading from the cottage directly onto Blencathra, which rises steeply above the village. Threlkeld is easily accessed form the M6, just a 15 minute drive and only 4 miles from the bustling tourist town of Keswick with its many amenities.


The accommodation is for 6 people, although there are beds for 8, to allow for flexibility of sleeping arrangements rather than extra people.
