Visit Haweswater, Troutbeck, Long Sleddale, and the whole of the Lake District can be easily reached by car. Staveley, 4 miles, has ample shopping, tea shops and pubs serving meals. Fishing permits can be bought for Kentmere and mountain bike hire is also available locally.
