Littlebeck is a perfect base for exploring the North Lakes by foot, car or bus and provides a peaceful, stylish retreat in idyllic surroundings. There is a general store in the nearby village of Rosthwaite and 2 public bars within walking distance. Derwentwater is 3 miles and Keswick, with all its visitors attractions is only 7 miles.

The cottage was refurbished in 2008, including the addition of a modern kitchen and bathroom and decorated and recarpeted throughout. It is the middle cottage of three just through Rosthwaite village, close to Stonethwaite and Seatoller and ideally situated to walk Scafell, Great Gable and many fells surrounding Derwentwater. There is a public bar in the Langstrath hotel, 1/4 mile and the village shop and bar in Rosthwaite,1/2 mile.
