Oakview Cottage (Hesket Newmarket) sleeps a maximum of 6 people.. This traditional Lakeland Cottage just oozes character, with beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove giving it a lovely cosy feeling. Situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Hesket Newmarket on the northern edge of the Lake District National Park and Caldbeck Fells. The Cottage looks out onto the pretty village green and the surrounding upland countryside. It is next door but one to the renowned village pub, The Crown Inn which is unique in that they brew their own beer and it is owned and run by a committee of local residents. There is also a village store, Post Office and tea room. This is the peaceful part of the Lake District where you may enjoy walks away from all the tourists.
