Running Hare is a beautifully refurbished and tastefully decorated traditional Lakeland stone terraced cottage with character. It is ideally situated a few minutes' walk from the centre of Windermere, opening onto parkland, with enticing views of the surrounding fells. The house offers a unique place to relax in comfort all year round and has lovely features, including attractive artworks and decor.

The spacious living room has a wood burner to keep you cosy over winter, and on summer evenings you can enjoy a drink on the patio in the courtyard-style garden that is accessed via the French doors. Entertaining in the well-equipped, modern fitted kitchen/dining room is a delight, with a large range-style oven, dishwasher and ample work space for preparing delicious meals. The handy utility room is useful for drying off muddy boots and dogs.

Take the feature staircase to the first floor, where the comfort continues with a twin room that can also be made up as a super kingsize bed on request, and a spacious bathroom with a wide bath and overhead shower. On the top floor, the double bedroom has beamed ceilings and its own en-suite with a spacious shower. Both bedrooms are attractively decorated with feature walls and look out onto the open parkland, with stunning views of the surrounding fells. Running Hare looks out onto Queen's Park, ideal for lawn games or dog walking. A children's play area is just a few minutes walk across the park.
